Friday, January 6: Festival Lineup Announced
On the first Friday of the new year, AJFF.org is updated with all things related to the 2017 festival. That includes our line-up, film trailers and synopses, the first round of guest talent, venue information, and more. That same day, Program Guides will begin arriving in mailboxes and at theaters across town.
Friday, January 6 - Tuesday, January 17: Sponsor & Patron Advance Ticketing
Sponsor-level and Patron-level supporters can begin reserving their tickets for the 2017 AJFF.
Wednesday, January 18: Tickets Go On Sale
The day you've been waiting for! Secure your tickets online at AJFF.org or by calling the AJFF Box Office 678-701-6104.
January 24: Opening Night of the 2017 AJFF
With tickets in hand, you won't have to wait long for the Opening Night celebration. This is date you won't want to miss. The wartime drama, Alone in Berlin, starring starring Emma Thompson and Brendan Gleeson, is inspired by a true story and adapted from Hans Fallada's international bestseller. February 11: Young Professionals Night, presented by AJC ACCESS
The pre-show party in Center Space will be followed by the romantic comedy Family Commitments, screening in the Rich Auditorium at the Woodruff Arts Center.
February 15: Closing Night
All good things must come to an end. The 2017 AJFF closes with the comical feminist narrative, The Women's Balcony, nominated for five Israeli Academy Awards.
